His name is Jose Luis Prada Méndez, but always ask for Prada. He has been called “crazy “many times, it was predicted that his dreams would not succeed. With time and incredible success “crazy” was corrected to “the prophet” of the superior products of El Bierzo (Leon). Self-made and, an inveterate traveler, from very young age Prada was convinced that so many of the superior products from Bierzo were undervalued and undiscovered. Many years ago he set about to bring these artisanal foods to other regions of Spain, to Europe and now North America.

From artisanal cans to the wine from Bierzo, through food and accommodation, which pioneered in El Bierzo, Prada undertakes everything has its own seal and the ideal of being the best in its category.
